Raid Times Swapped

From now on, our Kylikki raid will be held on Wednesdays at 7:45 pm EST, while Black Ring Citadel will be on Saturdays at 7:45pm.  This will hopefully allow more time and more people to play in BRC.

If you signed up for the BRC raid on Wednesday, you will have to sign up again for the Sunday raid.

Taters Four-man Thoth Amon's Ghoul Hyena

Thanks to the (temporary?) insanity of Furiann, four taters (Furiann, Belsea, Anutu and Trevaille), three of them level 74 or lower, took on Thoth Amon's Ghoul Hyena.  This Level 78 epic boss lurks in the wastelands of Kheshatta casually killing luckless passersby, and often groups will go so far as to form a raid to take him down, due to his hard hits and unpleasant fear effect.

Thoth Amon's Ghoul Hyena

Despite plenty of advice to the contrary, Furiann would not be conviced that our small group could not take out this nasty piece of work and so began a great kiting marathon near the destroyed Caravan along Kheshatta's main road.

A couple of passers by helped out by landing a couple of hits on the monster - however,  the group could have easily managed without their assistance.  Perhaps a kiting experience like this would be good raid training for up-and-coming characters.

After our regular Kylikki run today, Tater Salad moved on to host Yakhmar instead of Black Ring Citadel as planned, a choice made largely because of the large number of fire damage-dealers in our raid makeup for today.  Apparently all that extra heat paid off, as after several attempts the Worm was turned into worm food.

Successful Yakhmar Team

Like most of the other raids Tater Salad has turned its focus upon, the demise of Yakhmar was achieved through conscientious group organisation and everyone in the raid fulfilling their role within the raid - that and lots and lots of fire damage.  "The adds were going down really quickly," said Amiel.  "As soon as the Demos and HoX's jumped on them they died fast."

As has happened in the past with other bosses guild members expect that Tater Salad will bring down Yakhmar regularly from now on, a lootful addition to our raid-farming calendar.

Spud's Eye View
Random Conversations

One of the great things about this gig, is the random bits of salacious gossip that flutter to one's attention. Taken in context, the quotes make perfect sense... but we can't have that, now can we?! Where would be the fun if reading skills were used on the internet! Logical arguments might suddenly be all the rage leading people to the light of pure reason! Greenpeace would run rampant, fighting valiantly to help control the sudden demise of the modern internetus trollus population!

Therefore, this spud declares open season on out of context quips, quotes and bits from quacks! Viva la Faux Pas! Share the doble entendres!

Let the games begin!

[17:24] [Global] [Britesprite]: Ok, he's pretty easy at first and you can get him down to about 50% right away, then he pumps himself up to twice his size and gets harder. If you can get past that, he suddenly shrinks down to about a foot tall and totally wastes you!!
